GEORGE KONSTANTAKOPOULOS

Head of Innovation & Ventures

George has regional and international experience in the fields of innovation management, entrepreneurship and multi-stakeholder project development and management. He has worked as a c-level tech start-up team member, as an Accelerator Manager in the North of England for Wayra UK, as well as leading the design and delivery of an Innovation Programme for Midas and Greater Manchester’s regional authority (GMCA).

His work experiences allowed George to develop an in-depth understanding of innovation management and implementation in complex multi-stakeholder projects. He has been involved in such projects from different angles, that of a new venture, while at a multinational organisation and from a regional authority point of view. Also, George has founded a social entrepreneurs’ community which allowed him to work with tens of entrepreneurs in supporting them to develop their products and propositions, as well as running innovation workshops and hackathons. This brought him to be selected as a Social Enterprise Advisor for the Greater Manchester Mayor and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority.
